New Year, New You

Instead of saying we have to spend less, say we have to save more. Someone once told me to save something out of every check you get, even if it's $5; if not that $1, if not that a quarter. The point is to pay yourself out of every check. Put it in an envelope or jar or somewhere you will not touch it. Try it for a month, that month will soon become a year. Then you have developed a habit that will last a lifetime.

If your beliefs require it, start tithing. The more you give the more you will receive. You will be surprised what happens when you starting giving more of your time, money or whatever else you may have to give.
