Lent 2021, Weekly Reflection

Hopefully we are still in this marathon together. Sometimes we have to rest or slow down to be able to keep up. We have always been taught to "not be so selfish". Often we need to be selfish to become more self disciplined, self-reflective and self-sacrificial. How can we help someone else if we can't or won't help ourselves. This week I am focusing on feeling a deeper sense of compassion toward everybody. To accomplish this I have to look deeper into my own heart and soul. I will continue to renew my mind and open it up to new things so that I can understand the situation other's are facing.
